About

Who are we?…

The “Cage” is an acronym for; Creating A Good Environment!

The Cage Youth Foundation formed in 2001 under the vision and leadership of Pastor’s Peter and Linda Grieve, C3 Church Redland Bay. The Cage is a non for profit, self funded, Community supported Initiative. The Cage first started out providing youth social events in Redland City skate parks and schools.This evolved into a community requested Youth Space located in Dolery Road, Capalaba.
The drop in center style youth space provided a much needed area for local youth to hang out, building positive relationships and engaging in age appropriate social activities and youth events under the supervision of dedicated volunteers, youth support workers and mentors. The Cage Youth Foundation also offered free onsite counseling, basic life skills workshops, while continuing to provide community and youth events.

The Cage developed a social enterprise Works team offering services such as lawn mowing and yard maintenance, graffiti removal, skate park and playground clean ups.These contracts and services combined with community support, donations and fundraising events, provided The Cage with the funding and resources required to grow and expand the free services provided for youth and families.

The Cage relocated to a large tranquil property of several acres in Redland Bay, 2014. With an expanding vision and passion to serve the community, The Cage continues to grow, forever expanding the vision to ensure that Redlands youth, family and community support needs are identified and provided in a practical, proactive and person centered approach.

The Cage is evolving into a one stop shop of community support. Our current projects, support services and facilities include;
